there are many regulatory bodies involved in creative media sector,  the major regulatory bodies include:

The ASA is an independent regulator of advertising across all media in the UK, they apply advertising codes. Also they acting on complaints and checking the media make sure and take action against advertisements which are misleading, harmful and offensive in someways.

BBFC ( the British Board of Film classification )
The BBFC is an independent non-governmental regulatory body which classified cinema films and videos

Ofcom (Office of Communications)
Ofcom is the communications regulator in the UK which regulates television and radio also fixed line and wireless telecoms operates by different devices.

Ofcom is the regulatory body that looks after television sector, it's quite effective because you can make complain through many ways. and apparently they've made it quite easy to make a complaint because the site was divided into different sections which were more specific about what we want to complain about.
  • who was involved? and what's the outcome.
This case involved Sky's documentary which will actually show the moment when Craig Ewert dies. and the outcome for this case was that Ofcom has no power to stop the show being transmitted.
